The curricula are consistent with a modified regular elementary school situation. All teachers teach Reading, Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Computer literacy is developed through direct instruction and use of educational software. Art, Physical Education, and Music instruction are provided by certified teachers. Curricula are logical, sequential, skill-based and measurable. They are revised periodically and are consistent with the N.H. Curriculum frameworks and Grade Level Expectations (G.L.E.). The students are provided equal access to the N.H. Minimum Standards for Elementary Schools. Educational Evaluations Educational evaluations and other assessments are provided by the sending school districts or Pine Haven's consultants.  All Students participate in NECAP testing.
SUMMER SCHOOL A four week half day instructional summer program reinforces and solidifies the gains made during the regular school year. TUTORING When necessary, remedial tutoring is provided on a one-to-one basis.  In this way the student's learning and skills are reinforced and supplemented. The student's needs and progress in tutoring are monitored closely.
